Library

The First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc has the privilege and reputation of having one of the finest and most complete Church Libraries anywhere.  You will find the latest in non-fiction and fiction books written by many of our popular Christian authors.  Currently there are approximately 6000 books from which to choose.  We have a Children’s library with a generous selection of books just for them and also books geared to the early teen years.  In addition there is a large selection of Videos, DVD’s and music CD’s for all ages, from 2 years to 90 plus.  Some authors are:  Lori Wick, Karen Kingsbury, Ruth Bell Graham, Charles Swindoll, Max Lucado, Lauraine Snelling, Beverly Lewis…to name just a few.

Our library is open after the Church Service and on every Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  On Wednesdays, the library Committee is busy at work keeping our library current and in order.  If you would like to visit our library any time other than these times the secretary will be glad to let you in to browse and check out items.  Everyone is invited to use our library.  We only request that visitors please leave their name, phone number and/or address on the check out cards so that we may contact you if necessary.  Videos, DVD’s and music CD’s have a return due date of 2 weeks and books, 4 weeks.  Be advised that you will receive a “reminder card” in the mail if you forget to return the due items on time.

If you are looking for helpful and informative Christian Living books on any subject you can think of, you will most likely find it in our library.  If you prefer fiction and want to relax with a book that will give you some Christian direction while keeping you wanting more, you will be surprised at our generous selections from which to chose.  Or you might want to view one of our many Family DVD’s .  Then again if you enjoy listening to inspiring Christian music, check out a CD.   The Grand Blanc Church Library is the place to go for all of these.  See you there!

Children's Library

The Children's Library is located across the hall from the main library. Both are located in the old Chapel building where most of the Sunday School rooms are located.

News from the Library:

 All of the Christmas books and movies are out for your enjoyment. Many of them are located in the foyer. Stop in a check out something for yourself or the kids as vacation time from school is right around the corner.
